Feedox (“Feedox”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at feedox.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us by email or through links on this site, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
Usage data. Like most websites, we collect limited technical information automatically — such as your browser type, device, referring page, and aggregated, anonymized analytics about how the site is used — to operate and improve the site.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure the website, understand aggregate usage, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them will not prevent you from using the site.
Data sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site, or when required by law. These providers are bound to use the information solely to provide services to us.
Data retention & security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
Feedox Publisher (social account connections)
Feedox Publisher lets you connect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn accounts to publish content you create.
What we access. Your basic profile (name, ID, profile picture), the ability to publish content you create, and the status and insights of posts you ask to see.
What we store. OAuth access tokens, encrypted on your own device in the Feedox client. The web composer at publisher.feedox.com keeps a server session for up to 12 hours, then discards it.
What we never do. We never sell your data, and we never post without your explicit action.
Platform terms. Data from Facebook and Instagram is handled under the Meta Platform Terms; TikTok data under TikTok's developer terms; LinkedIn data under the LinkedIn API terms. We use platform data only to provide the features you request.
Retention. Tokens remain until you disconnect the account or revoke the app; web sessions expire within 12 hours. To delete your data, see Data Deletion.
Para (phone app)
Para is a web browser for iPhone and Android. It has no accounts and sends nothing to Feedox.
Browsing. Pages load directly from the sites you visit, and searches go directly to DuckDuckGo. Your tabs and recent pages are stored only on your phone. Sites you visit handle your data under their own policies.
Your Mac (optional). If you pair the app with Para on your own Mac, the phone and that Mac talk directly over your network (or your Tailscale network). Between them travel the Mac's open-tab list, a tab's site cookies (only if you turn this on in Para on the Mac, so a page stays signed in when you open it on the phone), and the Mac's Agent, Live and Reader pages. This data goes only between your own two devices; Feedox never receives, stores or sees it. The phone keeps a pairing key for each Mac in its secure storage.
Permissions. The camera is used only to scan the pairing code your Mac shows. The microphone is used only for optional voice questions to the agent on your own Mac. Neither is recorded or sent anywhere else.
No tracking. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and we collect no personal data through it.
Deleting data. Removing a Mac in the app forgets it on the phone, and revoking the phone in Para on your Mac cuts its access. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, email us at info@feedox.com.
